The filling materials are biocompatible, and utilized to correct wrinkles and lines, or to add volume in determined face areas such as lips, giving a natural aspect in a simple application.

The injectable filling materials are of a variable duration. Among the synthetic materials of different reabsorbing duration, hialuronic acid which remains during one to two years, materials such as Radiensse , which last for two years, or Aquamid as a permanent filling.

All the fillings are realized with a topic anesthesia. It is a minimally invasive method, which allows patients to restart their daily activities a day after.

The pass of time produces tissue reabsorption on face areas, such as cheekbones, and chin arcade; which gives a haggard aspect, making the patients feel their faces “fall”. With the lacking or disappearance of the face´s natural fillings, the first skin exceeds appear, because it loses its’ natural support on anatomic deep structures which `padded´ its ´aspect and along as appearing as a spare, it is lax and missing its ´smoothness.

A suborbicular line is then marked; the one starting from the eye´s internal angle, crossing the cheek and dividing it in halves. This grove is due to the resarbtion of soft tissue at the cheekbones level, and the Spoof (Sub orbicular Oculi fat). The Nasogenian line appears because of the disappearance of the tissue filling the cheek and cheekbones. Finally, the `puppet lines´, starting in the corner of mouth which fall vertically to the interior part of the chin and give the peribuccal region a sad aspect.

The filling materials are not only meant to rejuvenate; it could also result very useful for young individuals a lip growth, a cheekbone increase or a chin growth in faces showing a `bird side face´.

The interesting part of all these new techniques is wide because, until nowadays, the middle face rejuvenating has been always technically risky and has given very unsatisfying results, for appearing  unnatural. Technically it was impossible to respect the anatomic structures, which are those who give the face the natural aspect that anyone pretends, when they look for a facial rejuvenating technique.
